400 year-old Morus nigra in the SE corner of the Garden Quad bythe gardeners' sheds. A notice claims it was planted around 1609. as part of James I silk initiative. Mostly collapsed ,and hollow but still producing leaves and fruit (6/11/18). There are two others in this garden and two more in the Fellows' Garden, said to be scions of this tree.
