400+ year-old Morus nigra in the SE corner of the Garden Quad by the gardeners' sheds. A notice claims it was planted around 1609. as part of James I silk initiative. Mostly collapsed ,and hollow but still producing leaves and fruit (29/11/23). There are two others in this garden and two more in the Fellows' Garden, said to be scions of this tree.
